Fruit Routes Spring Walk
March 15 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Step into Spring! Come and bathe under the blossoms and switch on all your senses.
Free event, all welcome.
Join artist Mita Solanky for a walk around Fruit Routes – our edible route of hundreds of fruit and nut trees and bushes on the Loughborough University campus. You will be able to enjoy the experience of blossom bathing, allowing your senses to open up and wake up to spring. Along the route you will learn about what we can forage through the seasons.
The walk will start at the Barefoot Orchard, located next to the Paddock and (almost) opposite Pilkington library. Look out for the Fruit Routes banner near the Geography Weather Station. Walking will start at 2pm and finish around 3:30pm.
This event is free, no need to book. We will be walking along running routes and natural paths, so please wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather!
This event is part of Sustainability Fortnight at Loughborough University. Events and activities are taking place across campus for staff and students to learn more about their role in helping to create a more sustainable future. Visit the Sustainability Fortnight webpage
